Library Rules

• Use quiet, indoor voices at all times.
• Treat books kindly.
• Listen carefully to the teacher and each other.
• Keep hands and feet to yourself.
• If you want to share and be heard, raise you hand and wait to be called on.
• When you have finished selecting a book, you may read quietly, look at a magazine, or work on a puzzle.
• If you have forgotten to return your book, you may still choose a new one. We will hold it behind the desk until you have brought your book back.

Check out Limits

• Kindergarten and 1st grade may check out one book and keep it for one week.
• 2nd and 3rd grade may check out two books and keep them for two weeks.
• 4th and 5th grade may check out three books and keep them for two weeks.
• Books are considered overdue after two weeks and students must return them before they may check out another book.
